Families with youth between ages 9-14 are welcomed to join us.  Childcare will be provided onsite for children too young to participate.  Strengthening Families Program is entirely free and includes a meal, all activities, childcare if needed, and prizes.

We begin each evening with a family meal.  After supper, the parents and youth meet seperately for one hour.  The youth will play games, perform skits, and watch short videos that help them learn to set and achieve goals, understand their parents' point of view, learn to handle stress, and avoid peer pressure.  Parents will have videos and discussions on what changes their youth are, or will be, experiencing during the teen years.  They will gain new tools for parenting, and learn how to keep their relationship as strong as possible with their young person.

The second hour, families reunite for games and activities.  Parents and youth will work together on family art projects, hold family meetings, and learn a lot more about one another.

At the end of each night, we draw for a prize!  It's a great time and we hope you'll join us.
